Respected Voters of Bexar County,

WELCOME, AND THANK YOU for visiting our campaign website. I
am pleased to announce my Re-Election Campaign for Judge of the
408th District Court of Bexar County. Many who have visited my
courtroom as jurors, witnesses and lawyers have heard my
instructions to answer questions directly on the stand by using the
analogy of the black car. I have had this black l957 Chevy since I
graduated from high school. It is in perfect condition because I
keep it that way. It is a reflection of my core values and dedication
to excellence and that's exactly how I run the 408th.
It has been a great privilege and a dedicated life’s dream to serve
the Citizens of Bexar County as one of your Judges. I am fortunate I can apply the many life and legal experiences I have gained throughout my career to this important public service. Throughout the 16 years I have served
as Judge of the 408th District Court, Justice of the Peace Judge, and
Municipal Court Judge, I have incorporated three valuable principles
passed on to me by my hard-working parents. Those life-enduring
principles of Education, Work Ethic, and Dedication define the true
essence of my public service. These three building blocks
have been the cornerstone of my career, as well as the foundation for my success as a Christian husband,
father, grandfather, businessman, lawyer, community leader, and now District Judge.
I invite you to examine the importance of voting. Your vote and acceptance of my invitation to
become involved in my campaign will enable us to continue the progress we have achieved thus far.
Progress in the 408th has been accomplished by respecting the time of plaintiffs, defendants, jurors,
and lawyers. Progress in the 408th has been achieved by the efficiency in rendering accurate judicial
rulings, which were carefully considered and focused on fair, impartial interpretation, and application of the law. The operational duties in my court are effectively administered by doing it right
the first time, in order to save the citizens of Bexar County’s hard-earned tax dollars in these complex
economic times.
I am grateful for your on-going support, and I hope to continue in my service as your District Judge. Since I have opposition in both the Democratic Primary, May 29, 2012, and the November 6, 2012 General Election, it is vital to get the word out. Please share my passion for serving as your Judge with your family and friends. Click on Support The Judge to view many of the terrific opportunities we have for you to get involved. I will also be happy to accompany you to local events to meet voters.
